Iceland:  Seljalandsfoss

Seljalandsfoss is considered Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, especially for photography. It is located in the South Region in Iceland right by Route 1. So you can pretty much see the waterfalls from afar as you drive around the ring road. The waterfall drops 60 m and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. The cliff of this waterfalls is believed to have been once part of the coastline of Iceland. If you are a big fan of the reality TV race show, The Amazing Race, it was featured there back in 2004.
