Baby elephant in Kenya, Africa
African elephants have been facing serious threats over the years especially with the droughts and poachers who illegally kill the elephants for their valuable ivory tusks. Few years ago, poaching became illegal and the good news is the number of elephants doubled in 30 years- from 16,000 to 34,000 African elephants.
Part of the sale of this fine art will be donated to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust who takes care of orphaned elephants due to poaching.
